My eBay is the place where you can keep track of all your activities on eBay pretty easily.Whether you're a buyer or seller,keeping track of all your activity can sometimes be  daunting proposition especially if you're selling or bidding on a lot of different items simultaneously.But eBay is very user friendly it gives you everything through My eBay,but one thing i want to mention here is that you have to login in order to use  My eBay. If you don't have an ebay account you can create it for free of cost,but you have to be logged in to use all eBay functionality.The My eBay page,like the one shown below in the screenshot tracks all your bidding and selling activity,automatically.You can also use My eBay to manage your eBay account.My eBay is actually a set of nine page,accessed by tabs at the top of each page.These tabs are detailed below after the screenshot of My eBay page.

 As you can see the interface is very visual and user friendly and you get access to everything whether bidding or selling all the stuff is presented in this page.Now lets discuss the other tabs which are visible  when you hover over the My eBay page.
  1. The first option is 'Summary' look at the above screen shot that's the 'Summary page' where every option is visible for you to look.
  2. The next option is 'Bids/Offers' gives you the details of your bidding and selling history.
  3. Next comes the 'Watch List' here you can add items you are interested in and want to track for bidding,you can watch for up to 60 days or until you delete it.
  4. After 'Watch List' the option comes is 'Wish List' here you can see the products you added to your wish list.
  5. After 'Wish List' you'll see 'All Lists' there you can see all items whether for bidding or selling.
  6. The next is 'Purchase History' where you can see the purchases you do on eBay.
  7. After that comes 'Selling' there you can scheduled items for sale and manage you selling items.
  8. The second last option is 'Saved searches' There you can view your saved searches.
  9. Now the last but not the least comes 'Messages' you can see here all your messages.
Although all the items are pretty easily visible at the 'Summary' page,but some times it's better to know other ways to look at a particular thing.I find "My eBay" to be an invaluable tool and have it bookmarked at the top of my browser Favorites list. Website Secrets of Google shows you to bypass Google Search and have fun.

Recently i was Googling for a phrase "gravity and its effects" and rather than clicking the "Google Search" button i clicked on "I'm Feeling Lucky" and instantly Google showed me the results in a different manner,instead of the normal search results Google took me to the web page that ranked at the top of the search results.If you trust Google and want the best result for your search query to be delivered than this is a fun option to try.Look at the below screenshots the first one shows the normal search result offered by Google and the other one shows you  the web page that you land after clicking the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button.

So as you can see the top most result on the normal Google search matches the web page you land when you click the "I'm Feeling Lucky". That's it now you can experiment with the search result as you like,Another interesting thing i wanna tell you guys is that,no i am not gonna tell you,i  will show you with a small video clip i created earlier which is quite short but i guess it's of enough length to explain the effect.

Stuff you miss on CNN

There's is a lot more than just the home page while being on CNN's website.This may not sound pretty obvious but you will be surprised to know that many visitors never go beyond the home page.I know no one likes to go deep in the water  or dig deep into the land but the reality is to get gold you have to go down to the earth,let's not get distracted my motive is to tell you guys that you miss a lot of stuff while being just in the front page of CNN's website.The stories listed on the front page are just a drop in the ocean when it comes to what is offered throughout the CNN.com site.What you all do is read only the latest headlines at the home page not even full stories.You miss tons of stories which are present in topic specific sections.For instance;Look at the screenshot below:

There are two specific sections out of many,i've illustrated only these two,followed by the latest headlines in the sections.Suppose you look World Sport.It is followed by the headlines 
And followed by some more headings but if you click on World Sport you will see there are dozen of stories related to sport than just the headlines shown in the illustration.If you click link then you'll see a lot more on World sports specific related news and lot's more.The conclusion is if you want to look just the headlines you can stick to whatever you like but if you want to read the articles thoroughly you must click the individual sections to look all the related news as you look every aspect while buying any type of machinery or electronic item or Oh that's it.You might have understood what i wanted to show you,So I hope you like it and it's the time to end the post.Thanks for your time!!!

Find specific Items for Sale

While eBay makes it easy to browse through the numerous categories of merchandise offered for sale, there are so many items listed in most categories that browsing in this fashion is virtually impractical. It’s much more efficient to use eBay’s search function to search the millions of active auctions for those particular
items you’re shopping for.Using eBay search is like using the search function at Google and similar sites.
Enter one or more keywords into the search box on eBay’s home page and then click the Search button. Items matching your query are then listed on a separate results page.

Using Advanced Search Operators

eBay automatically searches for items that include all the words in your query.If you instead want to do an OR-type search, or search for an exact phrase, or exclude words from the search, then you have to use advanced search operators in conjunction with your keywords. eBay’s accepted search operators are detailed in Table below

Access All of Yahoo!’s Searches from a Single Page

As you’re discovering, Yahoo! offers a variety of search options. There’s Yahoo!
Web Search (via Google) and the Yahoo! directory, as well as separate news,
image, map, product, and Yellow Pages searches.
While you can go to each of these search pages separately, they’re all easily
accessed from the Yahoo! Search page (search.yahoo.com), shown in Screen shot. Just click the icon for the type of search you want to conduct, and then start
searching!

Just because you conduct one type of Yahoo! search doesn’t mean you can’t
expand your query into other types of searches. It’s as easy as clicking a new
tab on your search results page.
As you can see in screenshot, there are a series of tabs at the top of each search
results page. These tabs are:

Images—Finds related photographs and images
video—Finds related video listed in Yahoo!
Local—Finds related to local searches

Google Automatically Corrects Your Spelling

That’s right—you don’t have to be a spelling bee winner to search with Google. That’s because Google has built-in automatic spelling correction. If you inadvertently misspell a search query, Google recognizes what you meant to type and provides the correct spelling for you. So go ahead and type as fast as you can. Google will correct all your spelling mistakes.

Don’t Bother with Capitalization

When you’re entering a Google query, don’t waste time pressing the Shift key on your computer keyboard. That’s because the Google search engine isn’t case sensitive. So it doesn’t matter how you capitalize the words in your query—Hot Body and hot body will both return the same results.

Bypass the Search Results and Go Directly to the First Page on the List

You have another option after you enter your search query, other than clicking
the Google Search button. When you click the I’m Feeling Lucky button,
Google shoots you directly to the Web page that ranked at the top of your
search results, no extra clicking necessary. If you trust Google to always deliver
the one best answer to your query, this is a fun option to try. For the rest of us,
however, it’s still best to view the rest of the search results to see what other
sites might match what we’re looking for.

You know,  It was back in January
of 1994 that Stanford University PhD students David Filo and Jerry Yang started
keeping track of their favorite sites on the Web, collecting  hundreds
and then thousands of different Web pages. As their little hobby grew
more time-consuming, Filo and Yang created a custom database to keep their
Web links, and they made the database available for free on the Web. They
named the database Yahoo! (Yet Another Hierarchical Officious

Most of you are familiar with this search engine. Google is the "World's Best Search Engine" and according to the stats below that statement is true.
According to a statistics website

 and it's stil not enough to describe google in a single post.Unlike a portal like Yahoo,Google is all about searching.
Most people like google's simplicity of easy to use interface. If you are typical and visit's Google several times a week,or several times a day,you don't even use a tenth of Google's power.But what most don't get is that Google offers more specialty search services that you can use to perform more accurate and targeted searches.

Google results more targeted searches than other search engines:

Google assembles search results by using special crawlers software.The result of your searches are ranked according to Google's Pagerank Technology.This technology measures how many other
pages link to a particular page; the more links to a page, the higher that page
ranks. In addition, PageRank assigns a higher weight to links that come from
higher-ranked pages. So if a page is linked to from a number of high-ranked
pages, that page will itself achieve a higher ranking.The conclusion is the more popular a page is, the higher that page’s ultimate value.
